Maceo Plex’s journey through electronic music is a story of evolution and innovation. Known for blending techno, IDM, and breakbeat, he’s held the #1 spot in three Beatport genres at once, proving his versatility. A self-taught musician, he believes true artistry comes from personal exploration. Born in Miami to Cuban immigrant parents, his early influences came from the city’s electro scene. In the late '90s, he built a following as Maetrik before fully embracing the Maceo Plex alias in 2010. Now a global force, he continues to push boundaries and captivate audiences worldwide.
